I'm just creating my first Pipe Accessory (a gate valve). The OTB gate valve that shipped with Revit was done with just 'Types'. I could be wrong but I don't believe that the OTB ones will size themselves to suit pipe run changes.
By linking the gate valve size to lookup tables I can make my valve react to pipework changes. Is this a recommended approach? What method are other people using for Pipe Accessories?
