Changing the look of the conductors on a Electircal wire

Is there any way to change the appearance of the conductor tick marks?

The tick marks are based on external families. Depending on what you mean by appearance, yes.

As stated in the previous post, the Wire Tick Marks are separate Families that are loaded in to the Project and configured under Electrical Settings » Wiring. See image below.

 

The default Tick Mark Families can be found in the default Library under Annotations\Electrical\TickMarks (Revit 2014). I would recommend copying one or more of these Family files and making the desired modifications there. Afterwards, load them into your Project (or Project Template) and configure them as the the image below. In the Project, the loaded Tick Mark Families can be found in the Project Browser under Families » Wires.
