Hi,
Im sure this question has been asked before, but is there a way to invert a cable tray so its run upside down on unistrut to underside of the slab, where as the cables are cleated to the tray. This is common practice in the building industry but cant get it to work!
Also, why is there no Trunking in Revit MEP. There is conduit, but no trunking or am i not looking in the wrong area?
Thanks
Paul
Hello, and welcome to the Discussion Groups!
Yes, there are more than a few threads here about this issue, and they can be found searching this forum. As of now, Cable Tray cannot be oriented in any position other than upright. I believe that there is a work-around method that forces the Cable Tray to a different orientation, but it is a touchy process. You can find it by searching the web or this forum.
There is currently no trunking in Revit.
