Background too light

We are linking files into Revit MEP which were created in Revit Architecture. The problem is that the project is a addition/remodel so when I link the architectural plan it puts the "look" of a halftone automatically onto the linked file. In the architectural file the majority of the project is showing existing walls, windows, etc. so when it gets linked into MEP it halftones the already halftoned file. On the screen it doesn't look too bad because you can still pick up on the gray background but when it prints the background is almost invisible and is very hard to read. Is anybody else linking in existing buildings into MEP? Any suggestions? Thanks

That's hardly worthy of being called a work around.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Go to manage tab_addition settings and adjust the settings for half-tone underlay.

Using a filter to select all the walls, windows, doors, etc and override the color and lineweight worked for me.

You can adjust the settings for half tone underlay to accommodate your specific needs.   Under additional settings on the manage tab.

You are completely wrong.  It can be adjusted under additional settings on the manage tab.

Hello,

That was exactly what I meant, there is only one place in the file to adjust the halftone setting.

But you can mimic the halftone setting using filters and shades of gray.
