Autosave

Does Revit MEP 2009 have something like autosave option like Autocad has - in case of crushing and wanting to restore (to some point) your done work?

Not like AutoCAD. The only thing you have is the reminder. So the rule is, save quickly and save often to your local.

When u save to the local, Revit will rename the 'original' to the same name with .001 in the name. Depending on your settings, you may find up to 5 of these. Example, ABC.RVT saves and then you will have ABC.001.RVT as well as the ABC.RVT. Then as subsequent saves are performed you could have ABC.001,RVT, ABC.002.RVT, ABC.003.RVT and so on. These 00x files are akin to the BAK.

Thanks Dennis. I know about this "back-up" option. It is better than nothing but the "aotosave" question still remains. I hope in the future releases of Revit Autodesk will address this issue.

Sadly no... only reminders.
