As a start, I have all calculations turned off for the air-side systems and water-side systems. So here's my problem:
I have a really large building with many VAV's and AHU's, unfortunately some of my systems are not "well connected" so I can not use the pipe pressure loss report tool or duct version. So I thought I would break my systems down into smaller systems until I figure out where the problem lies. My first chunk of equipment is a section of the building with maybe 40 VAV's and 5 AHU's (all connected by pipe and ductwork). None of this equipemnt is on a system on the supply side. When i create a new system and select a single VAV to add it to the newly created system, it takes around 10 min to add a single VAV?!?!
Why is this happening?
