Autodesk, How about separating PLUMBING from MECHANICAL. If both ends of a pipe connect to mechanical equipment it should be under Mechanical Piping. However Plumbing is and should be considered separate as it consists of Domestic Water, Waste, Vent, Compressed Air, Medical Gases etc. After all isn't that why there is a PIPING and PLUMBING catagory on the Design Bar?

For the last ten years I have work for a Mechanical Engineer doing both Mechanical and Plumbing Design and we treat them as two completely different disciplines. Before that I worked in high rise buildings in San Francisco for 27 years where they were also considered two different disciplines.
