Multiple Visibility Parameter in Families

I see there is a lot on this topic but I cannot find what I am looking for.

I have three elements in a family, A, B, and C. What I want to do is, when A is turned off, B and C also turn off, but when A is turned on, I need to be able to turn B and C on and off independently. Has anyone ever done this.

Sorry, just re-read your post and my answer won't work.

Ignore.

there are ways to have one visibility option Control others. Your issue is you want to then be able to control others independently after that.

it may be the easy way out, but I would just make them Instance Parameters and control them with Types. Even though their Instance parameters the Type should set them initially, and then, since their instance, they can be manipulated individually after that.

Seems easy enough, unless I misunderstand what you want.

see attached.  And yes, you could also make different family types for each visibility, like Howard mentioned.  So you would need 4 family types.  One that shows none, A only, A and B, A & C, and A & B & C.

Thanks. I don't have Revit 2024 yet. Can you move the dialog in the image 1 so I can see your parameters.

It's a revit 2023 model.   After creating it, I realized I should have used an earlier version of revit.
