There isn't a lot of information out there on this zoom tool.... so...
I thought this feature would zoom the view to 100% of screen size. Effectively, I could measure off the screen with my ruler, becuase it is zooming to sheet size, which is to scale.
This is not the case, and I cant figure out what scale it is zooming too.
Could someone help me with this? Not sure if it's a bug or not.
Thanks.
This is what the command seems to be trying to do, as the zoom changes based upon the scale of the View.
It doesn't get it quite right - seems similar to trying to measure from a PDF off of the screen at actual size.
I found another thread that has info on this topic:
How do I change the sheet size for the Zoom to Sheet Size command (ZS)
http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Autodesk-Revit-Architecture/How-do-I-change-the-sheet-size-for-the-Zoo...
I've tried it out, but it doesnt actually zoom to sheet size as the command suggests. It zooms to about 75% of the sheet size. (Regardless of which title blocks are used)
Am I doing something wrong here?
It looks like the size of the model on the screen (when using the zoom sheet size command) is related to the resolution of your monitor.
