Worksharing Monitor No. of Reloads? What does it mean?

My office has been experiencing some slow syncing and we've noticed that when the No. of Reloads column shows a number greater than 0, the sync times are commensurately larger. In other words there seems to be a direct correlation between the No. of Reloads and the sync times. Does anyone know what the No. of Reloads is referring to? Can someone explain what this means? Thank you!

To find the No. of Reloads, go to the worksharing monitor and click on the History icon (the little paper icon in the upper right hand corner). Clicking on this icon will bring up a history report of recent syncing, opening, etc, of your file.

It might have something to do with lpeterson not reqlinquishing items when he/she syncs, especially if they're items that someone else has requested permission to edit, since it only appears to be happening to him/her.  And people usually on use reload latest when the don't want to relinquish elements that they're editing.  Maybe have that person sync, close out, and then recreate a new local to see if that improves sync time.
