Worksharing Monitor& Subscriptions

I'm trying to determine if Worksharing Monitor is part of my current subscription package and if so, how to install and deploy it.

Running Windows 8 on mac bootcamp.

Thanks

Yes it is included as part of Subscription.  Find the download here (you'll need to sign in with an Autodesk ID tied to your firm's subscription contract).

Thanks Kyle,

Unfortunately that link takes me to a "The Page You Were Looking for Was Not Found" error.

Can you attach the entire text of ther hyperlink please?

Thanks

My bad.  Looks like you need an active cookie for the Subscription site for my original link to work.

  1. Go to subscription.autodesk.com and log in with your Autodesk ID.
  2. Don't close that browser session -> Click on the original link I posted -> http://subscription.autodesk.com/sp/servlet/download/item?siteID=11564774&id=23163250.

Still sends me to a broken link. I'm using both Chrome and the latest IE browsers with the same results.

I can access my subscriptions page but only have the entire Autodesk Building Design Suite Premium English 2015 Win 32/64 as a 14gb download as an option. Is WSM bundled in there? If so how can I install it on two standalone workstations (non network deployment)?

The link I am at for downloads is here:

Thanks

I see.  You want to go to the product enhancements section:

Okay. I can see now that something is wrong with my credentials as I do not have the product enhancements sections. See attached screen image:

Is there a live chat option Kyle? That would be a lot more effective than this post.

Thanks very much for all your help by the way!

I also now see that our support contract might now have expired, as I see this when trying to submit a ticket.

Might that be the trouble here?

Highly likely.  In order to access Product Enhancements:

  1. Your Autodesk ID needs to be tied to an active Subscription.
  2. Your Autodesk ID needs to have the "Product Extensions" entitlement associated with it

Okay, I've confirmed that we do have an active subscription.

And I can now access the Product Enhancements page but only see the Autodesk Revit Server Extension as a download options.

Could WSM be hiding elsewhere?

Thanks DarrenP,

But as you can see from the screen shot, it's not showing up there.

Is this an Autodesk error? Should I submit a ticket?

Another item worth noting. I am not currently Contract Administrator on the account. Would that cause this trouble?

can't say for sure

try going back to the subscrption home page the page you get when you log in

you should see product enhancements at the bottom of this page

what do you see there?

Nothing about product enhancements.

thats right you posted that already

this seems to be a permission issue

you need to contact your contract admin to give you access to the product enhancements

John, assuming all is right with your subscription you should see it under Product Enhancements. Try the following:

Log into the subscription center and scroll down to Product Enhancements. Click on the Download link (under Product Enhancements)

Then do a Find for Worksharing. Pick the right one, download and install.

If this fails we may need to escalate to the Front Desk folks as you may have an issue with your account. Thanks for posting.

Thanks to everyone.

This was entirely a permissions issue. I wasn't listed as Administrator so could not see any product enhancements.

We have resolved this issue but it would have been nice if Autodesk were to add some more intuitave notes to the subscription page - something to the effect of "only your subscription admin has access to additional product enhancements" or some similar guidance.

Thanks again.
