Worksets

Hi there,

I accidentally pick the detach &discard worksets option when i want to detach my file from central file.

1. Can I get back the worksets from central file?

2. How do I link back my local file to central file?

3. Do i have to set the worksets manually and reassigned my model to its respective workset again?

Just create a new local file to get the worksets back.

You shouldn't. Create a new file.

Thanks for the reply.

If i've created a new local file, the model would be outdated because i done some adjustment in the previous file. so this means i need to copy and paste the adjusted model in the new local file. is that correct? After i paste the model do i need to reassigned it to the respective workset or will it be automatically assigned?

Hi,

Yes, you will need to paste the elements you've created to the new local file and you will need to reasign the worksets to these elements.
