I have be given the challenge of creating a BIM like environment that I can extract a material list for large complex wood frame projects. I have manipulated a Truss and Wall Panel software that I have many years of experience to accomplish this BUT with extreme hurdles to overcome. I am looking out in the Autodesk Revit world to see if there is anything out there that may be of a greater advantage of using. See attached screenshot of a project that I am working on...Anyone know of a way to extract a material list for something like this out of any Revit type models or extensions? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
