wood hatch

How can I get the wood hatch to show correctly.  All other hatches show up correctly except the "wood" hatches.  I remember in CAD this happens when hatch is used far away from the origin point.  I think there was a way around it in CAD however I don't know how to make it work i Revit.

What is it supposed to look like?

The pattern is defined by the .pat file, so there aren't any changes you can make in your project file to change the way it's displayed, except maybe for the scale, and that would only work if it's a drafting pattern (as opposed to a model pattern).
