Windows Vista 64 Anyone?

Just tried installing the OOTB Revit 9.1 and, though it installed properly, it won't fire up in Vista 64.

I'm downloading the latest build for 9.1 Series....can anyone tell me if they've gotten it to run on Vista 64 bit?

Revit Building 9.1 is NOT supported on Vista. Vista came out well after Revit Building 9.1. I would wait until Autodesk software fully supports Vista. Right now, you're just jumping into unchartered territory.

As for 64-bit. All of the Revit products are 32-bit applications, not 64-bit. So I would recommend staying in the 32-bit realm for a little while longer.

3Ds max 9 is 64bit but that's about it..
until revit goes 64bit i would not even
bother with vista.. it's true vista is
backward compatible as a 32bit OS-
but windows XP is the finely finished
result of over 10 years of work on
windows NT.. everybody forgets
what it took to get XP what it is today..
it will be several years before 64bit
vista becomes the polished product
that XP now is.. windows XP sp1
is the best OS since DOS- and it's
going to be the most important OS for
many more years to come..
