Hi,

When I add foundation walls they do not show in schedule only the orginal walls. What did I turn off?

Thanks

There may be several reasons. All depends on your workflow and how your project is put together

However, my first suspect would be phasing. Phase of your (foundation) walls vs phase of your schedule.

However it could be numerous thing (e.g. filters, family types etc).

If you can not find the solution posting a small subset of your project can help us find the solution.

Hi,

Thanks for the response.

If I copy existing wall it shows in schedule. If I use Create Similar or
draw new they do not show.

When I pick existing wall Mode shows Edit Profile and Reset Profile. When I
select new wall only Edit profile shows.

Trying to think of what I could have done. I originally drew walls under
Floor Plans later I created Structural Plans and deleted Floor Plans.

I've checked Phasing and filters. Everything is phased to New Construction.

Thanks,

You mention that everything is phased to new construction and that:

"If I copy existing wall it shows in schedule. If I use Create Similar or draw new they do not show."

This seems to me as a filter issue. During copy Revit duplicates the wall with all parameters equal.

When create similar it draws the wall with the defaultvalues for different parameters.

Maybe you could try:

-Do a create similar on a wall

-Start changing the values of different parameters to the same values as a wall that shows up in the schedule until you reach as if it was a copy.

Keep your eye on the schedule and see when (if) the wall start to show up in the schedule.

See if you get a positive result and see what might be the issue.
