Walls - Dual Cut Patterns

I would like to show Walls with dual cut patterns.

Example: Crosshatch and Solid Fill - Gray

Any ideas ?

Thanks in advance.

The trick is to create a new material for the wall.

Select the wall, go to type properties, edit structure, create a new material, set the shade as your grey solid fill, followed by the cut pattern.

In plan, set your shading to constant colour and detail level to medium.

That is a good solution. We just need to make sure no other families(objects) in the model do not have a material with a shade.

Since the walls are the only objects we are needing this look.

If you don't want other elements to be effected, create a rule filter under visibility graphics just for that wall type.

Let me know if you need guidance.

The Project time frame did not allow us to slow down at all for this issue.

That being said. I should let you know this is a renovation Project using Phasing.

I do not know if that changes anything.

We were able just now to get the results we needed by creating New Wall Types with Gray shading and Existing/Demo Wall Types with white shading.
