Ok I will take a stab at this. I would create separate wall types one
typical exterior wall with interior finish, one exterior wall without the
interior finish to be used on the outside corners and one thin wall with
plaster to attach to the column face.

I am trying to work out wall junction with structural column and wall boxing
for elevational purpose. I am attaching 2 images of the wall junction (one
with the problem and the other one is how I want that area, done in Autocad)
