visibility of void extrusions

Does anyone know how to make a void extrusion visibility switch for a
curtain panel family?
I mean i have a hole in a curtain panel (void exrusion) and i want to make a
parameter which would control visibility of the that hole on a panel. How do
I do that?
Thanks in advance

I've been told by Autodesk that Voids cannot have a visibility paramter. You could, via the type parameter, move the void shape out of the CW panel, and then it would ne cut it.

the CDV video tutorial on the family editor shows a workaround for this.

They set the value of the parameter created for the void depth (it's a void around a window lintel) so that the void does not penetrate the wall face in those instances where there is no lintel showing on the elevation.
