Visable 2D plans in 3D DWF model

Why can't I see my 2D plans that I placed in my REVIT model (from cad) when I export the model as a 3D DWF model? I can not find anything that indicates it should not show - in revit or composer. If it shows in my REVIT 3d model why does it not show in my composer model. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED IMAGE OF TWO MODELS.
thanks
Boyd j.

Are you export settings set up to exclude ACAD or Imports/Links?

Are you talking about the menu: Export Settings for dwg/dxf and DGN. I looked under that and it appears to me that it is all about transitioning from Categories to Layer names when going to CAD.

Under the Export to DWF the only option is 3D and 2D and i do not see any options or settings under that menu.
