View title not showing up properly

OK, this is odd behavior.

In just one project, when I drag a view to a sheet, there is no view title.

When I drag a second view to the sheet, it comes in with a view title for both views - named and associated correctly.

When I delete the second view, it takes both view title with it.

When I have three views, all with view titles, I can delete the second, but when I delete the third, it takes both the 1st and 3rd titles with it.

I can't have a sheet with only one view and it doesn't matter which views and which order.

Please see the attached images.

All help is appreciated.

Under the Viewport's Type Properties, there is a Parameter "Show Title" that must be set to "When multiple viewports", which sets the View Titles to display only when multiple Views are present on the Sheet View.

Hi Corey,

That was it.  I changed it to Yes and it works fine now.

Thanks,

Jon

Brilliant just the answer I needed.

I had a similar issue but after trying the above solution failed to get any response.

If anyone is interested in an alternative solution the only thing that seemed to work was removing and re-adding the view to the sheet

Ah, this solution worked for me. Thanks! 🙂

I also had this same problem in Revit 2022... I had to remove and Re-add the view.
