URL Link to a file in Instance Parameters

Hi I am trying to put a URL link to a file in a componet's instance parameter, to show up in the properties pallate, I can put the URL in there, but no link is established. How would I get this to link to the file?

Hello Shawn - I added an image for reference.

Once you put the URL parameter in the family and put the actual URL in - load that into your project.

When you select the item, in the parameters dialog box go to the URL parameter and select it - then select the little box with 3 dots that shows upon the right - this will open up the URL.
