Upgrading Project Templates rom Revit Architecture 2011 to 2012

I have read that Revit Project Templates should be built from scratch for each version. True or False.

It is not a manditory thing. More of a best practice.

It would be a best practice to make sure all of the new functionality of the newest version is avaiable.

Also would be a good time to review your standards and get rid of anything you don't need anymore. Do some spring cleaning so to say...
