Upgrading Central file to 2011

We just updated to Revit 2011 (our first upgrade). We went through a very confusing 45 minutes of how to upgrade the central file and local file and have them sync. Is there a step by step process that someone can either tell us or give us a link to some place that does so this confusion doesn't happen again. I was hoping it was as simple as opening up either the central or local, having it update the file along with its counter part and wala your done. It doesn't seem that simple.

~nodding~ I definitely understand why they do it.

Of course, I have talked to a couple of people on these forums who are
blocked from reading blogs. 😮 THAT would be where I would draw the
line for inhumane working conditions.

🙂 I don't mind the cold, Murph, it's the heat that bothers me.
I don't leave my house from April through September. 😄 ~cranking up AC~

Besides, I've grown quite attached to the St. Louis area over the past
decade. 🙂
