Unwanted mystery line won't select

Hi folks,

I'm slowly learning the ropes by trial and error, teaching myself Revit 2010 (student version).  I have a line that appeared in the middle of one room on my floor plan and it won't go away. I can't select it at all. I tried to turn off various objects to narrow things down and it seems to be on the furniture "layer," problem is that I don't want to turn off my furniture visibility. How do I get rid if it. I can't select it at all, it acts like it's not there but it still prints, unfortunately.  Any suggestions?

Post the file, and let someone try it out.

It could be almost anything, based on your description.

You have probably solved this by now! In case this is still an issue I encountered a similar issue and it was a surface pattern assigned to the material at 1:1 so I had two lines, one horizontal and one vertical. Changing the material surface hatch removed the 'mystery' lines.
