Trench drain

How do I create a trench drain in a floor? I tried using a host sweep but that only works on walls.

Creating an in-place family object would help.

Cut a hole the size of the trench drain.

Use the structural, select wall type ( concrete or block )

Select the slab opening and the walls appear.

Draw another slab at the bottom of the trench.

That's the way I did it before but the section needs to show the actual profile. Also we are required to accomplish all models with actual components so all is correct in the IFC export.
