I have a problem making a trapez profile in a cast in place floor when I do a section. (see picture)
I have tried making a family with the profile and filled the air part with a void form and afterwards making an extrusion with the material "air". But when i load it into revit and do a section it looks like the floor material is taking over eventhough i have giving it the material "air".
Why don't you use the metal deck profile which can be loaded and used in structural floors. In the edit type, edit structure, you can add a metal deck which can have any profile.
