Transparent background in raster graphics

Hi.

I imported a PNG raster graphic in Revit 9.1 (latest version) into elevation and section views. I noticed that they print out fine on the elevation sheets but they will print out with black background on other sheets. Finally I found that this was related to the advanced graphics mode: if you print the sheets as raster, they will print correctly, when printed as vector graphics, the imported raster files will show the black background. Now my workaround was to set advanced graphics display to show shadows with shadow intensity of 0. Now the views with raster images will be printed as graphics, the remaining ones as vector graphics.
Only drawback: large files when printing to DWF or PDF.

Has anyone another solution for the problem?

Cheers,
Ingo
