Transparency in floorplan?

Hi

I have just installed update 1 + 2 in hopes that the problem with transparency in floorplan would have been corrected, but sadly it hasenĀ“t been (!).

We rely very much on this function for showing for instance things behind ceillings.

The print raster function is a no-go, because we also need to export plans to DWG files in many cases.

Best regards

Jakob Hansen (Denmark)

Can you please post one or two images describing the current problem and the desired result?

I have not heard before about a problem with "transparency in floorplan". What do you mean by that?

Here for test purpose I have made a duct over the ceilling and made the ceilling transparent.

As you can see the duct disapere in the PDF, but only when the entire duct is behind the ceilling!?

Info: Ceillingplan.

        Ceilling hight: 2800mm

        Duct hight: 3000mm

This is clearly a bug that came with Revit 2013. There was no problems prior to 2013!

Hi

There is really not that much to share, itĀ“s a very basic setup: four walls and a ceilling.

As said before, there was no problem in Revit 2012, so this post is more a cry to Autodesk for an update that actually addresses this issue.

Best regards.

Better than posting a cry, it is more useful to post a file, so that somebody can try to detect what is going on.
