The Chicago Tribune is not the only place to show off your Revit designs - win an iPod Nano

The DWF-Apple iPod Nano Contest is still going on Autodesk.com for only a
few more days.

http://www.autodesk.com/dwf-nano

We're soliciting customer DWF files to showcase on the Autodesk web site. To
kick start the program we're giving away a Nano a week, through January
27th.

Our first winner was Mark Johnson of North Carolina for his building design
of the Extreme Ice Center.
https://projectpoint.buzzsaw.com/ConstructionManagement/public/Nano/092100-1-drawing11_r5-Model.dwf?public
(271KB)

Our second winner was Jerry Chasek of Nebraska for his assembly of a Patriot
300 Bushel Seed Tender with Trailer.
https://projectpoint.buzzsaw.com/ConstructionManagement/public/Nano/162502-1-Patriot_330_ST_w_Trailer_Asmbly.dwf?public
(2.34MB)

Our third winner was Matthew Brennan of British Columbia for his building
design of a country home.
https://projectpoint.buzzsaw.com/ConstructionManagement/public/Nano/222306-2-0601-05_Malacko_-_3D_-_Prelim6.dwf?public
(323KB)
https://projectpoint.buzzsaw.com/ConstructionManagement/public/Nano/222306-1-0601-05_Malacko_-_WD2.dwf?public
(1.95MB)

Our fourth winner was John Stacey of Pennsylvania for his air group of a
ball mill.
https://projectpoint.buzzsaw.com/ConstructionManagement/public/Nano/163850-1-05-050368.dwf?public
(1.72MB)

Our fifth winner was Todd Hudgins of Virginia for his assembly of a
compressor fan.
https://projectpoint.buzzsaw.com/ConstructionManagement/public/Nano/092039-1-BLOCK-ASSEMBLY.dwf?public
(401KB)

Our sixth winner was Jason Biagio of California for his 2D and 3D designs of
the Holy Cross Church for St. Anne's Parish.

(MB)

(1.11MB)
https://projectpoint.buzzsaw.com/ConstructionManagement/public/Nano/161329-3-sahcc_renderings_and_photos.dwf?public
(2.46MB)

Our seventh winner was Scott Davis of California for his 2D and 3D designs
of the Holy Cross Church for St. Anne's Parish.
https://projectpoint.buzzsaw.com/ConstructionManagement/public/Nano/155416-1-0419700.dwf?public
(2.5MB)

Our eighth winner was Patrick Zampetti of Virginia for his 3D and 2D DWFs of
a 260 unit apartment complex.
https://projectpoint.buzzsaw.com/ConstructionManagement/public/Nano/165545-1-3D_Model_View.dwf?public
(806KB)
https://projectpoint.buzzsaw.com/ConstructionManagement/public/Nano/165545-2-A2.1_3D_VIEWS.dwf?public
(96KB)

As part of his submission, Patrick noted that using a DWF file gets the
customer involved in using latest 3D technology. DWF provides time and cost
savings and offers greatly reduced file size over competitive document
formats. DWF also features improved clarity and accuracy.

This is the last week we will receive contest submissions from all over the
world. Due to circumstances around this particular contest, we can only
award an iPod Nano to an entrant from the United States or Canada excluding
Florida, New York, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, and the Province of Quebec.
The rules and regulations spell this out. Apparently there are export or
local regulations that would make a contest like this very complicated if we
tried to hold it globally. Regardless, we have been excited to see DWF being
used all over the globe. For the rest of this week, keep those submissions
coming regardless of where you are from. Our plan is to include interesting
submissions in our customer gallery even if the submissions do not win iPod
Nanos.

Correction:

Our seventh winner was Scott Davis of California for his 3D design of the
Montlclair Police Department facility.

This was a copy/paste error on my part in terms of my posting. The contest
winners know what they really submitted. 🙂
