text shows and prints outside of crop region

My text shows up and prints outside my crop region. Is this a feature, a
bug or OT (operator trouble)?

Thanks

That would be a feature. Its useful for when you need to crop around, say,
a wall section, but need your annotation outside that area which is cropped.

Okay but I don't need my annotation around where I have cropped; that's why
I cropped my view. How do I turn the text off OUTSIDE my crop box?

-Thanks

If you don't "need" it, delete it.

Text is view dependant, so the only way it would show up is if you
specifically placed it there in that view. Just delete it
