Tagging Double doors

Is there a quick and easy way to schedule 2 door panels for a double door?
I need the schedule to account for every panel, and a single tag for a
double door just won't cut it. Is there an easy work around for this?

TIA

Mike

You seem to be asking two questions. One to schedule panels as well as doors and Two that you want to tag panels not doors?

One - You can add a parameter in your project that is applied to all doors that designates the # of panels. Then you can supply a 1, 2...3...etc for each in your schedule or via door properties. Then you can count/total this parameter. There are several other methods you could use that get more involved when you try to do it automatically from the family side of the equation.

Two - If you nest the door panels into your families and use the "Shared" parameter for them you can schedule panels as well as doors. You can make them a generic model so you can schedule them apart from doors and they don't affect door schedules. Or you can change them to be door families and you'll have to filter them out of a schedule if necessary.
