Sweep Schedule

In revit 2011 I was able to get a count of the coping or cornices in a particular produuct by creating a schedule with the sweeps.  I've noticed in 2012 if the sweep is part of the wall type the Sweep will not be counted in the Wall sweep schedule, or wall scheduel.

Is there a step I am missing?  How can I get an accurate count of sweeps in a 2012 project if they are part of the wall type?

The request for having wall sweeps included in schedules has already been forwarded to our development team and is currently an "enhancement request" for future release.

Unfortunately wall sweep schedules currently only include standalone wall sweeps, not those that come as part of a wall definition. It's not the desired behavior, but more of a temporary solution to allow at least some wall sweeps to be scheduled.

The issue is that the two kinds of sweeps are not defined in the same way. Ordinary sweeps have types, and properties like the profile and material are determined by the type. Sweeps that are part of wall definitions don't have types. Instead, properties like profile and material are specified directly in the wall type definition. So scheduling them together will lead to some inconsistencies. I think the right thing to do is for sweeps in wall type definitions to use the same types as ordinary wall sweeps.
