sweep doesnt work

In a new project file, when I click on "create form" after clicking on the path and the profile, the sweep only goes a short way along the path, maybe 5, 10 or 20 feet according to the scale.  This happens in any file I try it in.     Is this something i am doing wrong? Is it a setting? Or does the program have a problem and should it be reinstalled?  Thanks

Are you picking both the line and the rectangle profile before you press the create form button?  If both are selected you will get a sweep.  If only the rectangle profile is selected then you will get a box like you have.

AH,   I was forgetting to hold the control button down when I picked both the path and the profile.
