Stupid Revit Groups

No, I dont mean chat groups... 🙂

I'm going to give the situation I'm in and let me know how I should have...
or better yet if you know how to, get the results I want with what I have
done already.

I have a Revit group and I wanted to edit some items in this group... well
all the items in this group. When I'm in the group edit mode it wasnt
letting me do what I wanted to do. So I had to ungroup them to get the
options I wanted. Now that they are set up correctly I want to group them
and have them replace the groups already in the project... Could some let me
know how to do this?

Thank you

you just re group the elements, then name the new group. Thenselect the other groups and in the pull down select this new named group.

I just did this. I was hoping for a better way. Something like "A group
with this name already exist, would you like to redefine them?"

Yes that would be nice. I'm still hoping that we can get to use all the commands within the edit group area, so you can create walls doors windows, etc within the group instead of outside the group then add to them.
