Structural Elements in Section Views

This may be a dumb question, but here goes. I am trying to generate an elevation view of a trellis with horizontal support pieces with cross pieces on top. I generated structural components and in 3D view it looks great. but in Elevation view the 2x elements come out as single lines. Is this a setting that I am missing somehow? The section view shows the same horizontal lines where the structural elements are instead of showing them in 3D. If you can put the framing on the drawing in 3D but cannot view it in section views or elevation views, then what is it for? Thanks Doug

The detail settings in the "view properties" have to be set to at least medium detail in order to show the steel as a double line representation. By default the detail is set to coarse. You can change detail setting as Stacey suggests, or override detail level settings for the structural framing alone in the view properties / visibility dialog box.
