I must be missing something, but I can’t seem to find the magic mix to get STL’s from Revit to Meshmixer.
I am trying to do a 3D print of the attached RFA file from:
product
I’ve export the .stl from Revit 2014 via the STL Exporter plugin (both binary and ascii), but when I load into Meshmixer there are tons of un-welded vertices.
So I tried Revit to Max via FBX & SAT, but still no improvement.
Is this RFA to complicated, or is an export setting. I suppose I could load the fbx into Max and painstakingly weld all the vertices, but one would think there could be an easy way.
End result I am trying to get to my PrintrBot Simple.
If anyone could shed some light it would be appreciated.
