stairs view cut

I have someone in our office working on trying to adjust the break line in
stairs. When the plan is viewed the stairs going up are cut but the stairs
going down are completely visible (even under the floor slab).

Any hints on how to control where the break line show up? or how to add one
in.

Thanks,
M

Break line is controlled by "cut" line height, usually 48" a.f.f. To raise
it or lower it for stair only, you need to create a "plan region" with
localised view settings like view depth set to "associated level" and no
offset values.

I am also having the same problem. Are you suggesting using a masking region to hide the parts of the stair below that should be hidden?

No, that's not what I said. "Plan Region" should be used to locally control
visibility.
