Stair skirt boards not aligning with stair landing

I am trying to create a simple L shaped staircase with a landing.  The problem is that when I finish the stair, there is a large gap between the stair landing and the skirt board for the 2nd flight of stairs.  Attached is a pdf showing my problem.  Any suggestions.

Thanks,

There might be a problem with the nosing profile and its settings. Hard to tell without looking at the .rvt file.

I used the "stock" stairs straight out of the box.  I selected open both sides.  The only thing I changed was the tread depth and the riser height.  Everything else stayed the same.  I tried to attach the file, but it says it is too large to post.  I would appreciate any help I can get.

You could try pulling the last riser of the first flight away from the corner by 1/2" (or whatever the little distance is where the error is occuring.  Might see if that resolves the issue.

I will try that.  Thank you.
