Stair opening

I have what I think is a simple question.
Is it better to create your floors around stair openings or create floors over the stairs and then create an opening for the stair?

me too. this way you can control wall/floor bearing condition in the
sections/details. use a separate floor for the landing the stair won't
create.

use shaft openings for shafts and elevators.
