SSD upgrade, worth it for Revit rendering?

From what I hear a Solid State Drive doesn't really do much for rendering. It pulls up files fast and boots fast, but is it worth it or would it just fine with out it? Is it a luxury that's worth the $$?

SSD write and read much faster than traditional SATA drives, so commands involving "open" or "save" will happen

much faster.

As I understand it, rendering in Revit (which uses a custom version of the Mental Ray render engine)

relies most heavily on CPU / processor calculations, so having a SSD will probably make little or no difference in render speed.
