Sketch Up to Revit

Anyone know how to get a Sketchup model into Revit as a wall?

I was thinking the create under model pull down and wall then insert the
exported sketchup file as a mass. but cant get it to work.

Please help with ideas.

What kind of wall model are you trying to create? Are you trying to import a Sketchup model as a wall type? I don't think that will work. Message was edited by: axlerodhomeboy

Yes I am trying to pull the sketchup model in as a wall type. I tried DXF
and DWG formats. I think the key is importing at the stage that you are
making a "Solid Form".

The only way to get Sketchup to Revit is through mass modeling. Export the
3D Sketchup model as dwg and then import into Revit 3D view and use mass
modeling (wall, floor, roof by face).
