Site Designer - Mass Grades

However,  whenever I try this I don't get a graded surface but a rectangular V shaped ditch / berm....am I missing something basic??

Same issue with pads.....I can't see that they are even different things....

Hi Russ,

Did you try to create a Street with Site Designer? I tried, but it seems not to work at all (a very familiar situation with "new features" from Autodesk). Every time I try to build a Street following the Sithe Designer help I receive the following message"External component has thrown an exception", than after OK "A transaction or sub-transaction was opened but not closed. All changes to the active document made by External Command will be discarded" and this is it ...

Go into your vis graphics dialog and make sure you have mass elements ticked.
