Site components

Having created a toposurface, I've then added parking components to it (see attached images).

In 3D view, the parking looks fine, in plan however almost all of it is non-visible.

Given we would be looking to do site layouts showing amongst other things, parking, and the surfaces of the parking ares are unlikely to be dead flat 100% of the time, why are we unable to see it in plan view simply because of a slight flexing of the surface?

Surely we aren't expected to have completely flat surfaces before we can add any kind of detail?

Or is the Revit way of doing things like this to not bother, leave them in Autocad?

Try these:

  1. In Site Floor View - check the View Range to be deep enough...
  2. In Site Floor View - Properties>Visibilty/Graphic Overrides >Model Categories>Site>Parking Island - verify to be checked
