Single Schedule with Wall, Roof and Slab Insulation: Is it possible?

Our model uses several material types for insulation, mostly rigid variations at this point.  The various materials are used in floor, wall and roof systems.  Is there a way to create a single schedule that would list insulation quantities across all three system types?

You could consider using Parts, to "break" the Floors, Roofs and Walls into their subcomponents.

Then create a new Schedule of Parts, and Materials.

This could provide a possible solution for what you are trying to do.

Another possibility is a simple Material Takeoff Schedule, and use a Filter in the schedule to show only the Insulation Material names.

I think you're right.  I'm new to this and thought you had to pick a single system to create the schedule.  Picking multi-category and filtering on various material parameters looks like it will work.  Thanks.
