SIM annotation question

When I reference an interior elevation the ref. number is overlapped  by the word SIM (see image) is there a way to fix this?

Determine the family that defines the arrow for your elevation, find it in the Project Browser, edit it, adjust the label(s) to avoid any overlap and then reload the edited version into your project.  You may want to save the edited family so that you can load it into other projects (or your template file).
