Sheet Keynotes

Does anyone have a good way of doing and "scheduling" sheet keynotes like you can reference keynotes? At this point the only thing I can figure out is to just do a text box in each sheet. I am looking for the notes with the hexagon around them and a single number in them, not the MasterFormat Reference Keynotes. Any ideas?

make a new keynotes.txt file that is numbered 1,2, 3, 4....and modify the
keynote tag to be a hexagon.

The tutorial section "Documenting Your Projects>Finishing the Sheets>Using a
Note Block" has a section in it that shows how to do a keynoted sheet as
you are describing. The tutorial files can be found here:

Thanks for the reply. I was aware of the note block idea. The problem I have encountered with that is if I want certain notes to show on some sheets and not on others. The other issue is that most people do their sheet keynotes with numbers, in a logical consecutive order, so that #1 on one sheet might not be "#1" on the next sheet. I don't see a way for Revit to organize by sheet keynotes by "view" or "sheet", so that the numbering is by sheet and not by project, and that way I can only display the sheet keynotes that are on that sheet and they display in a logical order starting with "1." Any ideas regarding this?

This would probably work except for two issues. First, if I am using reference keynotes, I would have to change databases back and forth and I am not even sure Revit would support doing that if I have reference keynotes and Sheet keynotes in the same project, which I always do. Secondly, if I am numbering starting with 1, I can't make Revit number by sheet similiar to the view titles, so that every sheet starts with the number "1" no matter what sheet keynote I used. Any ideas?
