Shaft Indication Problem

Hello everybody,

i need to show the shaft as a solid crossing lines if the opening is below me

and to show it as crossing hidden line if the opening is above me

there is no option to control visability using sympolic lines inside the shaft sketch mode

and it will be very hard to do it manually as i have a lot of shafts in a hospital project

anyone have an idea !!

Hi,

You can control the visibility of symbolic lines in the shaft sketch mode.

Simply select the symbolic lines and in the ribbon, change them to the style you want (Thin lines, ...). You can also create your own linestyle from the manage ribbon-> additional setting.

For the openings above, I would recommend overlaying, creating lines by picking and locking and this way you make sure any changes to the opening above will be reflected below.
