Service Packs

How can you tell which Service Pack you're on...I can't see anything in the program's Communication Centre.  Also, the Downloads area of Autodesk Subscription does not specifiy which SP you're downloading.

Thanks vector2.  Still can't see it however..(see attached).

Do you also know where to find each Update online?

You can get that update HERE..

Apparently they moved it for 2012. I looked around in the 2012 program

folder but I didn't see it. Seems like it has to be in that program folder somewhere.

I use 2011 or else I'd get to the bottom of it. But actually there's a much easier

way to know if it's already installed. Just click on the update package and see

what happens. If it's already installed it will tell you that, and then you will know.

Edit: Sometimes those links to Autodesk don't work depending on what browser

you have, so here is the address for you to click or copy if it don't..

Ok thanks. This is round-about for what is a very basic issue however.

2012 users out there: where it says in the Communication Centre "Your product is up to date", does this mean that all current Updates have been installed? Given I can't find any update files anywhere, or any help in the program itself which actually tells you which update you're currently running, it is not clear.

It knows your product is up-to-date with the up-date you are

trying to install. And your product knows it's up-to-date with

the last update you installed.

Okay you want to see if an installation of Revit 2012 actually

has update2 installed, and you don't want to just click on the

updater and have it tell you, not a problem. Here's how you

do that.

You check the build number. If it's not 20110916_2132,

it's not up-to-date. Can't get any more basic than that.

Ok, thanks.

Coming from other programs, they simply display in the primary nav somewhere "Update level: 2" or equivalent so you know immediately what you and others are working on, which would be helpful and not difficult to display.
