Section line change color and pattern

I would like the section line to have a special line type and color. How can this be changed?

There are 2 different possibilities. You can change the display of all section lines or just for special ones.

If the display of all section lines should be changed, please use “Override Graphics in View” -> “By Category”. Switch to Annotation Categories tab, the setting can’t be changed directly in this dialog, so please go down to the button “Object Styles” and change “Line Pattern” and “Line Color”.
If you would like to change only one section line use “Override Graphics in View” -> “By Element” and change “Color” and “Pattern”.
You can also have a look at this short video, it shows both possibilities:

Hello,

Small question on this topic.

I  would like to change specific Section Lines in EVERY drawing possible.

So not only an Override Graphic in one View.

Is it possible to do this for section lines?

I can do it for Level Lines by 'Edit Type' and then just change the Color underneath the Graphics tabl,

but for section lines there is no such thing. How can I do this?

Thank you in advance 🙂

The first possibility that describe @barbara.schurig is for all sections in ALL views.

Changing something in "Object Styles" it changes everywhere.

You can go directly to "Object Styles" from tab "Manage".

If you want to change the display of all sections in only one view you have to select all sections and follow the second possibility that describe @barbara.schurig

The question still at hand is if you can change a color/style of one specific section in all views.
Using Object Styles changes all of the sections in all of the views.
I just want one specific section to be changed, but in all the views.

Create a filter for that section type and add it to all views or all view templates.
